鍾立愷作品 往往充滿了趣味想像、實用性也顧飽飽～
以嘉義遠近馳名的火雞肉飯為靈感，用胡桃木、楓木、橡木、紅酸枝等鑲嵌拼接(立愷擅長的『茄苳入石柳』技法)而成。四圈肚子則是4個軟木材質杯墊，既實用也傳遞了當地文化特色。
這一次 鍾立愷接到嘉義市「優木良品」計畫的委託，創作出這『紳士火雞＋杯墊』。化身成為紳士的靈感，則是受到前輩畫家 「陳澄波 1927年的自畫像」的啟發，溫文儒雅的氣質正如美好的小城嘉義。
從靈感、文化關聯性 到造型、功能，一氣呵成。果然是 立愷啊！大力拍拍手～
