1959年，一個春天的早晨，哥本哈根街道上人車川流不息，有位警察發現鴨鴨一家迷失在馬路上，立刻指揮交通讓兩旁的人車停下，讓母鴨小鴨得以安全通過。

當時所有的報紙都報導了這件事，這個非凡而美麗的時刻，烙印在每個丹麥人的心中。這也啟發了Hans Bølling，創造出可愛的鴨鴨一家，抓住這寧靜和諧的一刻，也展現了丹麥人對自然的關注，以及讚詠日常美妙時刻的能力。

｜Hans Bølling｜

Hans Bolling出生於1931年，原就讀美術工藝學校，研習廣告設計，但最後還是無法捨棄對建築的熱情，從丹麥皇家藝術學院(Royal Danish Art Academy)畢業之後成為建築師。他的作品從玩偶、傢俱、莊園別墅、都會住宅和市鎮廳，十分廣泛。
