或許是『天圓地方』的概念影響，人們對於器物、裝飾甚至工具，對於圓形深深著迷：完美的對稱、視覺上非常舒服，也是自然界最常見的樣貌。
Finn Juhl 從基本的圓形出發，提出一種新的迷人形式，於是 從各種角度 仔細考慮比例、形式、光影、折射等效果，circle bowl 誕生了。
從容器的邊緣開始，弧線自然上升下降，呈現出完美的對稱與平衡；而形體的一致性，搭配上 拋光不鏽鋼的材質，在其中擺放水果、花藝或是其他物件，都能產生一種不尋常的折射效果。
這種獨一無二的形式，從1954年開始一直閃閃發亮至今。
