輪傘草盛產於花東海岸的水梯田，是阿美族傳統上 用於編織草蓆、掛簾的材料。是生活上的必需品，也是族人熟捻的傳統技藝。這種記憶，就是阿美族『身土不二』的印記。

每天沐浴著東岸日光的輪傘草，旋轉呈放射狀、如同太陽一樣 暖暖的照顧著我們～
